Latrice and Clarice must have thought they were better than me. There was no way in hell I was going to allow them to have a secret meeting without me. When I got the call that they were going to be meeting up, I made it a point to cancel all the appointments I had that morning so I could be there.

Making up the lie that I was passing through on my way to the office, I knew that Reese knew I was lying. I have to admit that she was way smarter than I always gave her credit for. Her sister on the other hand would believe anything that I told her. When she asked how long I was sleeping with her sister, I tried my best to cover it up and change the subject. I knew there was no way in hell she would be able to forgive me after learning that I had been with her sister.

The fact that she was dumb enough to blurt out we had been together only made matters worse. I could tell that Reese was ready to jump on both of us, but I was not about to let this broad make me land back in the hospital. She took what was told to her better than was expected. She opted to walk away versus fighting either of us which was odd, especially for a black woman. Most of the other ones would have been ready to claw my eyes out.

But don’t get it twisted; I’m not a fool by any means. Who doesn’t know that when a woman is silent is when you really need to be concerned? I was not prepared to let Reese walk away from me again without a fight. Even though I said I needed to let her go, it was easier said than done.

We would be meeting with our attorneys in a few hours so she can finally she what I was requesting before signing the papers for the divorce, but I knew that I needed to keep her in the right mindset.

Standing up to grab her to hopefully calm her mood, I had no choice but to be honest about Latrice being nothing to me. She was just putty in my hands and an easy tackle. Saying it in front of her didn’t bother me one bit because she needed to know that no man in their right mind would leave something good at home for a side chick. Notice I said a man in his RIGHT mind.

I clearly underestimated Latrice and her ability to stand up for herself. No sooner as I was pleading my case to Reese did she stand up and confront me about the things I use to tell her. She tried everything she could to call me out on my lies and make me look bad to Reese.

“You think you’re the shit huh? I didn’t want you for your dick, I wanted you for you. Truth be told, you are just like any other nigga I have encountered with a big dick.
